Back to School with Asthma means ensuring medication and instructions are available. Before you give medication to the school, check expiry dates of the medication and ensure the asthma spacer is clean and ready with clear medical instructions close by. Check in with your child’s teacher as well as the school office staff. Confirm everyone knows where asthma gear is kept. It’s also a good time to talk about and agree to keep each other in the loop regarding your child’s health care needs.
