Need an Asthma Bag Travel Checklist? My Asthma Bag is perfect for travel. Keeping your asthma devices and medication together makes sense when away from home. Particularly when you are in a hurry and when passing through airports and you need to declare items.
Inspired by the Asthma Foundation of Queensland a Facebook post this week, I’ve created an Asthma Travel Checklist template. (Join your local Asthma Foundation for education and support).
The additional information I put on the form was the destination information of ambulance, hospital and doctors. You may like to add other notes, else research those details (hopefully never needing) prior to leaving home.
If using the Asthma Travel Checklist with your asthma bag, please keep this document in the inside pocket with the log book. This form is not to replace the Asthma Action Plan, but to serve as a checklist prior to travel and as a reminder to continue to use any medications as directed by your doctor on the Asthma Action Plan.
As always, discuss your plans with your doctor. Work together.
Happy travels!
